The Scorch Trials by James Dashner was a really good book that I really enjoyed reading because of the journey that Teresa and Thomas need to make. The story takes place at the Scorch, a desert that the graders need to cross to get safe to heaven and get the cure from the flare. Teresa and Thomas are parted away at the beginning of the story and they do the journey apart from each other, Thomas goes with Minho, Newt, and meets Brenda and Jorge throughout their way. But the dangers inside the scorch are risking their lives which makes it difficult for them to cross.

THE PERKS OF BEING A WALLFLOWERThis book “The Perks of being a Wallflower” by Stephen Chbosky is about a fifteen year old boy named Charlie, who is processing the suicide of his friend, Michael. To relax the fear and anxiety of starting high school alone, Charlie starts writing letters to a stranger. At school his English teacher, Bill, became his friend and mentor. He also overcomes his shyness and get to know a classmate, Patrick, who, along with his step-sister Sam, become two of Charlie's BFFs. During the school year, Charlie has his first date and his first kiss, he deals with bullies, he experiments with drugs and drinking, and he makes friends, loses them and after gains them back. Charlie has a stable home life. Unfortunately, a disturbing family secret that Charlie has repressed for his entire life surfaces at the end of the school year. Charlie has a severe mental breakdown and ends up hospitalized. Charlie's final letter closes with feelings of hope: getting released from the hospital, forgiving his aunt Helen for what she did to him, finding new friends during sophomore year, and trying his best not to be a wallflower. Charlie hopes to get out of his head and into the real world.
I think this book is worth reading because it is a really interesting story. This story was really good because it shows a teenagers life, what happens in it, all the problems we have and how to deal with them. This book really help you to see things in a different way, you can’t stop reading it. It has a lot of drama, action, and love. I would recommend this book to all my classmates because it will helped them to see thing with other perspective.
FRIDAY NIGHTLast Friday my friends and I went to Pop Shop to buy some ice cream. The ice cream was delicious. Then we went to Cable Plaza to buy some snacks like tacos and some bar gums before the movie. In Carulla we saw Jacobo and Rafael buying some things, Rafael came closer to us, Juanita said, “ Hi Rafa, how u doing?” “ Hi Juanis” answered Rafael “ I’m great thanks.” I’m social awkward with people I don’t know so I was so nervous and my voice was shacking and I said really low “Hi rafae…eel” Isabella look at me and laugh at my face. Then we went to the movies. The movie was great.
